  • 2/3 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 level tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. almond extract

Directions

    Beat the butter and sugar to a cream; add the well beaten yolks of the eggs, then the milk, chopped nuts and extract.

    Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt and add to the other ingredients.

    Bake in a loaf cake pan at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
