  • 1 lb. butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 8 Tbsp. canned milk
  • 2 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 2 c. chopped nuts

    Cream butter and sugar well.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

    Add milk and flavoring.

    Add flour, saving 1/2 cup of flour to dredge nuts in.

    Add nuts last.

    Bake in tube pan at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
