  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. black walnut flavoring
  • 3 to 4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Cream the butter and Crisco. Add sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour alternately with milk, then flavorings.

    Toss nuts in small amount of flour and add last.

    Bake in tube pan about 1 1/2 hours at 275°.
