- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

3Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, nutmeg and salt.

4Add to creamed mixture with buttermilk.

5Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13 baking dish at 375° for 25 minutes.
