  • 1 c. quick oats
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Pour boiling water over oats, let stand 20 minutes.

    Cream the Crisco, sugar, brown sugar, flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, vanilla and eggs.

    Mix altogether.

    Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
