  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. quick oatmeal
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

  1. 1
    Pour hot water over oleo and oats. When cool, add the remaining ingredients. Beat well. Place in long cake pan and bake at 350° for 40 minutes or more if needed.
