- 1 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 5 c. white flour
Directions

1Combine oats, wheat flour, brown sugar, salt and margarine in a large bowl.

2Pour over boiling water and stir in to combine. Dissolve the yeast in warm water.

3When the batter is cooled to lukewarm, add the yeast and stir in white flour.

4When dough is stiff enough to handle turn onto floured board and knead 5-10 min. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled.

5Punch down and let rise again.

6Shape into roll - flatten slightly and put 1 tsp. cinnamon/sugar in middle.

7Shape into roll and place in a greased pan.

8Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

9Cool on rack, brush rolls with margarine for a soft crust.
