  • 3 c. quick oats
  • 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/4 c. unbleached flour
  • 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 c. warm water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 3/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Stir sugar, salt, 1 1/2 cups of water and oil together.

    Add oats and flour with more water if necessary to make a moist dough. Roll very thin on Pammed cookie sheets.

    Cut into squares and prick with a fork.

    Bake until light brown in a 300° oven.

    Watch carefully as crackers around the edges will brown first.

    Remove these as they brown.
