- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract or almond extract
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 4 large eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Grease and flour a 9-inch fluted tube pan.

3In mixer bowl, beat all ingredients for 3 minutes.

4Pour into pan.

5Bake 55 to 60 minutes until cake tests done.

6Cool 15 minutes.

7Remove cake from pan; cool.

8Frost or put on powdered sugar.
