- 5 to 6 large Vidalia onions
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. half and half
- salt and pepper to taste
- 12 oz. shredded Swiss cheese or more
Directions

1Slice onions and boil about 15 minutes; drain. Make a white sauce by melting butter and stirring in flour, slowly adding half and half and salt and pepper.

2Place onions in 2-quart casserole; top with cheese, then pour white sauce over top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
