- orange butter (1/2 c. butter and 2 Tbsp. orange marmalade)
- 2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. grated orange peel
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. chopped orange sections, drained
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and orange peel.

2Cut in margarine (like pastry).

3Add orange sections, milk and eggs. With fork, stir until mixture leaves side of bowl; will be gooey. Turn dough out on floured surface.

4Knead 10 times.

5Pour out in 6-inch circle on lightly greased cookie sheet.

6Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar.

7Cut in 8 wedges and separate a little bit. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400°.
