  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates
  • 1 lb. orange slice candy
  • 1 c. butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. flour

Directions

    Cut up nuts, dates and orange slices into small pieces; add coconut.

    Melt butter and pour over the mixture.

    In another bowl, mix eggs, sugar, flour, soda and milk.

    Pour over nut mixture and mix well.

    Bake in a 300° oven.
