Oreo Cream Truffles

  • 1 bag (18 Oz. Bag) Oreos
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Vanilla
  • 1 pound White Chocolate
  • Sprinkles, To Decorate (optional)

Directions

    Place Oreos in a food processor and grind to a fine powder, or place them in a Ziploc bag and crush with a can or rolling pin.

    With a mixer, blend cookie crumbs, cream cheese and vanilla until thoroughly mixed.

    Roll into small balls and and place on wax-lined cookie sheets. Freeze for 45 minutes.

    Line two cookie sheets with wax paper. In a double boiler, melt white chocolate. Dip balls and coat thoroughly. With a fork or slotted spoon, lift balls out of the chocolate and onto the cookie sheets. Add sprinkles on top of the chocolate for a more festive look (optional).

    Freeze for at least two hours before serving.
