- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1 can Campbell's onion soup
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 c. Uncle Ben's converted long grain rice
- 1/4 lb. butter or oleo
Directions

1Drain water chestnuts and slice thin.

2Saute lightly in small amount of butter in frying pan.

3Combine in casserole soup, water, mushrooms and rice.

4Add water chestnuts.

5Stir and add 1/4 pound of butter, cut up into small pieces.

6Bake 1 hour at 325°. Serves 6 to 8.
