Oven-Baked Halibut Steaks

  • 2 medium halibut steaks
  • 2 slice white bread
  • 2 tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
  • Parsley sprigs for garnish

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. With knife, cut each halibut steak crosswise in half; chop bread into small pieces.

    On waxed paper, mix bread, parsley, seasoned salt, and seasoned pepper.

    In 13-inch by 9-inch glass baking dish, arrange halibut steaks; press bread-crumb mixture on top.

    Bake halibut, uncovered, 8 to 10 minutes, until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.

    Garnish fish with parsley sprigs.
