- 1 1/2 lb. stew meat, or a small roast cut into cubes
- 2 celery stalks, bite size
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 4 potatoes, washed, unpeeled and cubed
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 c. tomato juice
- 2 Tbsp. tapioca
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Place raw meat on bottom of Dutch oven.

2Layer the celery, carrots, onions and potatoes in that order.

3Mix tomato juice, tapioca, salt and sugar together. Pour over vegetables and cover. Bake at 250° for 4 hours.
