- 2 lb. cubed stew beef, trimmed of fat
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 to 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. thinly sliced carrots
- 1 c. thinly sliced celery
- 1 c. water
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (8 oz.) cans mushrooms (pieces and stems), drained and rinsed
Directions

1In a plastic bag, combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Add a few pieces of meat at a time and shake bag, coating well on all sides.
