  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • 6 to 8 potatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cubed celery
  • 6 to 10 sliced carrots
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1/2 c. tomato juice
  • 3/4 c. beef bouillon

Directions

    Put stew meat, potatoes, onion, celery and carrots in a large pan with lid or Dutch oven.

    Mix salt, sugar, tapioca, tomato juice and beef bouillon.

    Pour this mixture over stew and bake covered for 4 hours at 250°.
