  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 3/4 c. corn oil
  • 2 tsp. salt *
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 4 tsp. baking powder *
  • 6 to 7 c. flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Combine dry ingredients, then add rest of the ingredients in given order.

    Mix and refrigerate at least 2 hours.

    Roll out dough and cut biscuits, bake at 450° for 15 to 20 minutes until browned.

    Dough not used can be refrigerated for up to 4 days.
