Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups warm water
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 pkgs. dry yeast
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • About 15 cups flour

Directions

    Add 2 Tbsp. sugar to 1/2 cup warm water.

    Let stand 10 minutes. Mix in 1 1/2 cups sugar, 4 cups warm water, oil, yeast, salt and gradually add flour.

    Mix up at 6 p.m., work down at 9 p.m.

    Pan out at 10:30.

    Let stand overnight at room temperature.

    Bake in the morning at 350° for 15-20 minutes.
