- 2 egg whites
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. orange flavoring (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. cholet drops
- 1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1 c. pecans
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Beat egg whites with salt until foamy.

2Very gradually, add sugar and beat until guile stiff.

3Fold in flavorings by hand, then stir in nuts and drops.

4Place plain white or brown paper on cookie sheet and drop meringues by teaspoon.

5No need for much spreading. Preheat oven to 350°.

6Place meringues in oven and immediately turn heat off.

7Allow to remain in oven overnight or all day.

8Don't open that oven door!!!
