- 1/2 stick butter
- 4 c. milk
- salt
- pepper
Directions

1Boil oysters in about 1 cup water for 10 minutes.

2Add salt and pepper. Lower heat to medium-low.

3Add milk and butter. Simmer for 30 minutes.

4Do not boil.

5If like, add pinch of cayenne pepper or dash of Tabasco sauce.
