- 1 qt. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Drain liquor from the oysters and put it in a saucepan; scald, then skim it.

2Add the oysters and cook until the edges begin to curl.

3Heat the milk just to the boiling point; do not scald.

4Add the seasoning and butter to the oysters, then the milk.
