  • 4 ounces bacon, smoked, thickly diced
  • 2 large leeks, white and tender green parts,
  • finely chopped
  • 1 medium celery ribs, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
  • salt and pepper
  • Tabasco sauce
