- 3/4 cup Buttermilk
- 1 Egg
- 4 tsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp BrownBrown sugar
- 3/4 cup Whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp Double-acting baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Directions

1In medium mixing bowl combine Buttermilk, egg, oil, and sugar.

2And beat until thoroughly combined; add remaining ingredients, stirring until smooth.

3Spray 12-inch nonstick skillet or a griddle with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium heat; using half of the batter, drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls into skillet (or onto griddle), making 4 pancaks.

4Cook until bottom is browned and bubbles apear on surface, about 3 minutes

5using pancake turner, turn pancakes over and cook until otherside is browned.

6Remvoe to serving plate and keep warm.

7Using rmaining batter, repeat procedure, spraying pan with cooking spray and making 4 more pancakes.
