- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach or turnip greens
- 1 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 3 canned or fresh hot peppers (optional), chopped
- salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Defrost and squeeze dry the spinach or greens.

3Mix together 1 cup of the Parmesan cheese, the chopped spinach or turnip greens, onion, garlic, cream cheese and mayonnaise.

4Chop the optional red pepper and add to the mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5Place in a greased casserole dish, top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and sprinkle with paprika.

6Bake until hot and bubbly.

7Freezes well, both before and after baking.

8Serve with crackers.

9Holds well in a chafing dish.
