- 2 1/4 c. whole-wheat flour
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. basil leaves
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1 c. milk
- butter (to coat pan)
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Coat a 9-inch square baking pan with butter.

3In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except milk. Stir in milk just until moistened.

4Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead 10 times or until smooth.

5Roll dough into 12 x 4-inch rectangle.

6Cut into twelve 1-inch strips.

7Place each strip into pan coated with butter, turning once.

8Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
