Pasta Con Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. shell macaroni, uncooked
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 c. half and half
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli or 2 c. fresh broccoli, cut up
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
Directions

1Cook shells and drain well.

2Cook broccoli and drain.

3Saute mushrooms in butter.

4Mix all ingredients together and simmer over low heat.

5(Mixture will burn easily.)

6Add salt, pepper and garlic powder.

7Let stand on stove or refrigerate several hours before serving.

8Mixture thickens as it sits.

9Rewarm before serving.

10Serves 2 to 3 as a main dish, 4 to 6 as a side dish.
