Name: Payday Cake
Ingredients: 1 yellow cake mix; 1/3 c. margarine; 1 egg; 3 c. miniature marshmallows; 2/3 c. corn syrup; 1/4 c. margarine; 2 tsp. vanilla; 12 oz. butterscotch chips (can use peanut butter); 2 c. Rice Krispies; 2 c. salted peanuts

1 yellow cake mix
1/3 c. margarine
1 egg
3 c. miniature marshmallows
2/3 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. butterscotch chips (can use peanut butter)
2 c. Rice Krispies
2 c. salted peanuts

Directions

Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup margarine and egg together.

Bake in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan 12 to 18 minutes at 350°.

While still hot put 3 cups marshmallows on top.

Mix and stir on stove until smooth the corn syrup, 1/4 cup margarine, vanilla and chips. Remove from heat.

Add Rice Krispies and peanuts.

Pour over crust.

Cool and cut.
