  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 3 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 2/3 c. corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 12 oz. butterscotch chips (can use peanut butter)
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 2 c. salted peanuts

Directions

    Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup margarine and egg together.

    Bake in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan 12 to 18 minutes at 350°.

    While still hot put 3 cups marshmallows on top.

    Mix and stir on stove until smooth the corn syrup, 1/4 cup margarine, vanilla and chips. Remove from heat.

    Add Rice Krispies and peanuts.

    Pour over crust.

    Cool and cut.
