- 1 c. rice
- 1/2 c. peas
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 small onion
- 1/8 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1Fry chopped onion in vegetable oil.

2Add cardamom while oil is still hot, then add peas.

3Stir it on medium heat for about 3 minutes, then add rice and 2 cups of water.

4Bring it to boil. Turn the heat down and let it cook until the rice is tender.
