- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease well a heavy 9-inch skillet. Cream butter and sugar until light.

3Beat in egg.

4Sift dry ingredients together.

5Beat half into creamed mixture; beat in half of the milk.

6Repeat, beating well.

7Pour batter into prepared skillet.

8Arrange peach slices on top of batter.

9Bake for 25 minutes.
