  • 3 c. sliced fresh peaches
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. pancake mix
  • 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

    Combine peaches, water, sugar and lemon juice in a 3-quart saucepan.

    Bring to a boil.

    In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients and stir lightly.

    Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into boiling peach mixture.

    Reduce heat, cover pan and cook 15 minutes without lifting cover.

    Serve warm with ice cream.
