Peach Shake(Lo-Cal)

  • 4 medium peaches or 2 c. frozen sliced peaches
  • 1 1/2 c. frozen unsweetened raspberries
  • 1 c. skim milk or 3/4 c. nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions

    If using fresh peaches, immerse them in a pot of boiling water and blanch until their skins start to split, about 1 minute. Immediately drain the peaches and cool them under cold running water.

    Peel off the skins and slice.

    Place the peaches, raspberries, milk, lemon juice, honey, vanilla and cinnamon in a blender.

    Process until smooth, 20 to 30 seconds.

    Pour into 4 glasses.
