- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- juice of 2 lemons
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
- grated lemon rind
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
Directions

1In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice.

2Mix well.

3Add beaten egg yolks, milk and melted butter.

4Cook until it comes to a boil and becomes thick.

5Remove from heat; add a little lemon rind.

6Pour into pie shell.

7Cover with meringue. Bake until browned.

8Also good in a graham cracker shell.
