Ingredients

  • 1 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. butter (soft)
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese (soft) and 1/2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 small box vanilla pudding
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. peach juice
  • 2 c. fresh peaches or 1 large can, drained and cut up

Directions

    Combine flour, baking powder, salt, pudding, butter, egg, 1/2 (8 ounce) cream cheese and milk.

    Beat for 2 minutes.

    Pour into greased baking dish.

    Place peaches in a single layer on top of batter.

    Combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and peach juice. Beat for 2 minutes.

    Spoon on top of peaches within 1-inch of the edge of batter.

    Mix remaining tablespoon sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over top.

    Bake in 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until light brown.

    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
