- 3 c. sugar
- 1 1/3 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 4 c. raw peanuts
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Grease two nonstick pans (10 1/2 x 15 3/4 x 3/4-inch).

2Mix sugar, syrup and water and cook until 275° (use a candy thermometer), stirring constantly.

3Add peanuts and cook until 290°.

4Add butter and vanilla.

5Cook until 300°.
-
6Mix thoroughly and pour into the two buttered pans.

7When cool, break into pieces.
-
8Yields 3 1/2 pounds.
