  • 2 lb. sugar
  • 3/4 lb. glucose
  • 3/4 pt. water
  • 2 oz. butter
  • 1 lb. raw peanuts
  • 1 heaping Tbsp. baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook sugar, glucose, water and butter until brittle in cold water (260°).

    Stir in peanuts and cook for 5 minutes; stirring constantly.

    Remove and stir in soda and vanilla.

    Pour onto a well-greased porcelain tabletop and stretch.
