- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. raw shelled peanuts
- 1 Tbsp. water
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Stir all of the first 5 ingredients together and cook in a black frying pan, stirring constantly.

2Cook until peanuts turn brown, about 10 minutes.

3Just before you take off the stove, add baking soda.

4Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet and spread thin. Break into pieces when cool.
