- 2 tsp. butter
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Melt sugar in heavy iron frying pan over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until all lumps are gone and sugar is a rich, golden color.

2Remove from fire; add butter and pour over nuts which have been spread in a shallow, well-greased pan.

3When cold, break into pieces.
