  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 3/4 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. raw peanuts

Directions

    Cook syrup, sugar and water to 280° on candy thermometer; add nuts and cook to 300°.

    Add margarine and soda; stir in gently, but quickly.

    Pour onto large greased cookie sheet.

    Spread without using a spoon too much.

    Cool; break into pieces.
