  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. white Karo syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 2 1/4 c. raw peanuts
  • 1 Tbsp. baking soda
  • butter

Directions

    Add sugar, Karo syrup and cold water.

    Cook until temperature reaches 236° on candy thermometer.

    Then add raw peanuts and cook until peanuts pop and turn somewhat yellow around 300°.

    Stir in baking soda and quickly stir well, then pour onto buttered cookie sheet.

    Break up pieces when cool.
