  • 1 c. white syrup
  • 1 lb. raw peanuts
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1 Tbsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Use a wooden spoon to stir and at least a 17 x 10 3/4 x 1-inch cookie sheet to turn brittle on.

    The slower you cook it, the darker it gets.

    When cold, break into pieces and store in airtight container.
