  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. raw unroasted peanuts
  • 2 tsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cook syrup, sugar and water to firm ball stage (244°).

    Add peanuts and continue to cook, stirring constantly until mixture is light brown in color or hard crack stage (300°).

    Stir in butter, soda and salt.

    Pour into greased baking sheet while still foamy. Cool slightly and stretch candy to desired thinness.

    When cool, break into pieces.
