Peanut Candy-Bar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. salted peanuts
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, except chocolate pieces and peanut butter.

    Press into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Bake in moderate oven 375° for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

    Melt chocolate pieces and peanut butter over hot water.

    Spread over baked cookie while warm.

    Cool slightly in pan set on a rack.

    Cut into bars.
