- 6 oz. peanut brittle, chopped
- 5 c. (2 1/2 pt.) vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
- 1 butter flavored crust
- 2/3 c. chocolate chips or 1 (3 oz.) milk chocolate bar
- 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1/4 c. smooth peanut butter
Directions

1Reserve some chopped peanut brittle for decoration.

2Mix remaining brittle with the ice cream in large bowl.

3Spoon into crust mounding it in center.

4Smooth with metal spatula; cover with foil and freeze at least 6 hours or overnight.

5Stir chocolate chips and heavy cream in bowl and microwave on Low until chocolate melts and mix is smooth.

6Stir in powdered sugar and peanut butter until blended.

7Put pie on waxed paper to catch drips.

8Pour chocolate mix over pie, spreading it quickly with a thin metal spatula.

9Freeze 1 hour or until topping is firm.

10Just before serving, top with remaining brittle.
