Peanut Setting Pretties Cookies

Directions

   Blend the oleo or butter and brown sugar.

   Stir in the egg yolk and vanilla.

   Mix in the flour and salt.

   Chill for 1 hour. Roll in 1-inch balls.

   Dip in slightly beaten egg white, then roll in nuts.

   Bake for 5 minutes at 350°.

   Press thumb in center of each; bake 5 minutes longer.

   Cool.

   Fill with frosting; garnish with M&M's peanuts.

    Makes 2 dozen.
