- 2 small onions, chopped
- 4 ribs celery, chopped
- 1 stick (8 Tbsp.) butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. crunchy peanut butter
- 8 to 9 c. chicken broth
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8 to 10 Tbsp. peanuts
Directions

1Saute onions and celery in butter until tender.

2Add flour. Stir until smooth.

3Add chicken broth; bring to a boil and add peanut butter, celery salt, salt, pepper and lemon juice.

4Heat to simmer.

5Serve and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
