Peanutty Ice Cream Pie

  • 1 butter flavor ready made pie shell
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/3 c. creamy peanut butter
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 2/3 c. chopped unsalted dry roasted peanuts
  • chocolate syrup
  • few chopped roasted peanuts for topping

Directions

    Combine corn syrup and peanut butter; mix well, then add to the vanilla ice cream and 2/3 cup peanuts.

    Pour 1/2 of mixture into pie shell, then drizzle and swirl chocolate syrup over ice cream mixture.

    Finish pouring rest of ice cream mixture into shell, then drizzle and swirl chocolate syrup over top.

    Sprinkle a few chopped peanuts over that to make it look pretty.

    Freeze until real firm (at least 4 hours).

    Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
