  • 5 ripe pears
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 c. cream or milk
  • 1/2 c. half and half
  • cinnamon

Directions

    Arrange pear halves or sliced pears in unbaked pie shell.

    Mix flour, salt and sugar.

    Add cream mixture.

    Blend and pour over pears.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake until cream is set.
