- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp.vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 stick butter
- dash of salt
- 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Brown butter in iron skillet.

2Remove from heat and add the sugar, stirring until well blended.

3Mix eggs and corn syrup with sugar and butter.

4Beat thoroughly.

5Add vanilla, salt and chopped nuts.

6Mix well.

7Place in unbaked pie shell.

8Cook for 10 minutes at 425°.

9Reduce heat to 350° and cook until a silver knife inserted in center of filling comes out clean.
